GENERAL & PAYMENTS   

• All bookings are made with the following terms and conditions. In proceeding with your booking, you are therefore confirming acceptance of these conditions.
• 25% deposit to be paid to confirm your booking. Your booking isn’t confirmed until a deposit has been received. 
• Balance of payment to be paid on day of charter or prior to charter by bank transfer, cash or PayPal. We are unable to accept cheques.

CANCELLATIONS

• If the booking party cancels the trip, then they will lose their deposit. However, if sufficient notice is given and Odyssey Sea Adventures are able to fill your space your deposit will be returned or if you prefer, we can offer an alternative date.
• Odyssey Sea Adventures reserves the right to cancel the trip due to weather giving as much notice as possible. We can either offer a new date or return your deposit when a booking is cancelled.
• Odyssey Sea Adventures are not liable for any extra costs incurred due to cancellation such as accommodation.
• The skipper’s decision is final on whether the trip will go ahead. We love boating as much as you and want to give you the best day possible and will do our best to ensure that trip will go ahead.
• When booking the whole boat, we ask that only the trip organiser contact the skipper 48 hours prior to the booking to confirm final arrangements. This is to avoid any confusion as to final arrangements.

BAIT & TACKLET

• The skipper will supply sufficient bait and chum for all shark trips however anglers are welcome to bring their own bait. For other trips, bait will need to be arranged by the charter party. Please speak to the skipper for advice on the best baits and quantities for the day.
• Gear hire is included in all shark trips and can be provided for other trips if requested at the time of booking. Our high-quality custom shark gear is design for big game fishing. In the unlikely event of any breakages due to negligence or not listening to skippers’ instruction, will paid for by the charter party.
• End tackle will be supplied for shark trips and rigs are available for purchase.
• Customers are welcome to use their own gear for shark fishing, however, please ensure that its appropriate for the size of fish we are targeting.
• For reef and general fishing rod hire is available at £10 per day. This includes 3 sets of terminal tackle. Any losses above this will be charged at £2.50 per rig & lead to cover expenses.

FISH WELFARE

• All Shark and Tuna fishing is strictly catch and release.
• Due to the welfare of the shark/Tuna and the angler, the skipper will do all shark handling. The angler is able to handle the fish under the instruction and supervision of the skipper.
• Photos are welcomed however we encourage photos of the shark to be taken in the water, if possible, if it is necessary bring the shark on board, photos will be taken at deck level. This is to ensure the best welfare for the fish. If you or any of your party do not wish to appear in photos or videos, please inform the skipper at the start of the trip.
• Fresh fish is delicious to eat however, we ask that customers only take what they need to avoid wastage and adhere to all minimum size limits.

CUSTOMER WELFARE     

• The weather both inshore and offshore can be changeable and you can experience four seasons in one day! Bring suitable clothing for the trip. We suggest you bring sunscreen, waterproof clothing, sunglasses and wear thin layers of clothing. 
• We ask that you consider how much tackle you need to bring. Where possible, try to limit number of boxes/rucksacks that you bring to ensure that there is plenty of space on deck for yourself and others.
• There is space reserved in the cabin to keep spare clothing and food dry.
• We kindly ask that you limit alcohol consumption to a reasonable limit. We don’t mind the odd beer, but we reserve the right to end the trip early if the skipper deems consumption to be excessive.
• Strictly no drugs on board.
